Well, for some reason Ive been itching for an AR-10 recently.  I dont know why, I just have.  So I just went with that as my vote.
But Id probably consider the Ruger Precision rifle as well.  Im kind of interested in that one too.

3-4" K frame.  Preferably a 3".  But the Big Revolver isn't a bad thing either.

But really, it's hard to not want at least 2 AR's.   Just in case.

There's just so many darn good choices.  LOL.

Everyone should have a 9mm handgun.  But I'm not sure I'd go with the M9A3.  I think Beretta's are great.  I have two M9's and love them.  But I really don't like having an auto pistol that I can't carry.  Although some carry an M9 just fine.  For me, mine gives me back problems.  And it's not due to the weight.  More just bulk.  But IWB'd it.  Someday I should try OWB with the right clothes with mine.

I voted other.  I think for the price of an M9A3 you can pretty much get an M&P 9 and build another AR.

The best choice is an RPR. You've already got the CCW and service size pistols covered.

That's what I was thinking but I don't have a 9x19 pistol. But I also want a big rifle.. but I also want a 20" AR again..  and there is something funny and cool about a huge revolver with a long as hell barrel...and and. Ugh I need more $$$.

Get a 9x19 Range Officer or Loaded. Or a USP9. Or a VP9.

I've considered turning my 20 inch LR308 into a 16 inch carbine and getting the RPR to do what the LR308 is already doing. The RPR is a fantastic rifle and you really have to be the worst rifleman in the world to miss or not group at all with it in .308.

Anyways, your money get what you want.

Call me a purist, but I have no interest in a 9mm 1911. I don't have the distance around me to stretch the legs on a 6.5CM. So it would be .308win more than likely...

Don't care to add a 9mm glock either. If I were to add a glock it would be 10mm. Which reminds me I was looking at the RIA 17rd 10mm 6" barrel 1911...I just need to suddenly have like 50k pop up in my bank account.

I don't do 6.5 anything myself. Nothing but .308 for this guy too.

I'm a purist in .45 ACP; I prefer to shoot them out of 1911's. But with that said if I could I would buy either a Colt or a SA in almost every handgun caliber out there.

I'd love to find a 625. That way I won't another caliber to stock up on or a different set of components and tools for.

Make it a 6.5 CR would double up for a long range package and hunting rifle.

I got lucky and picked up a 1903A3 through the CMP several years ago for $425. It is the best shooter of all my .30-06 surplus rifles. I bought a 1903 rebuild on Gunbroker last year for about $550. That said, now is the time to get a Garand if you do not have one. The CMP will be out of them soon and the prices will start rising. Look at what happened to K31 prices. I bought several of them back when AIM was selling them for $79 each. Nowadays you are lucky to find them for $200 and usually closer to $300. The prices on Garands will do something similar, and soon.

I already have a 1911...unless you mean the RIA 17rd double stack 10mm I mentioned later in the thread.

Hmm, I do know a guy with a M16A1 upper and a "vietnam" upper... when I found those, I was in the middle of purchasing an A2 upper from him he sold me for $40 cause he couldn't move it, and soon as I saw it I was all "gimmie!....wait,, wtf is wrong with it?...nothing? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"

6.5creed is awesome and all, but I have no where to shoot beyond 300 yards, so I don't really see the point.

I would vote sig p320 in 9mm and then also a Smith or ruger revolver. Around 1050 for both and same cost as beretta m9a3 or less than ar10 or ruger rpr.

You need more variety in your collection. Especially if you don't have longer than 300 yards to shoot. I would also suggest an ak 47 as well since you are max 300 yards range. Or pistol caliber carbine like cz scorpion evo.

Whoa, when the fuck did Savage arms get into the AR market? I just checked their website thinking about a bolt action..and noticed they have several new "MSR" rifles. Including a MSR10 in you guessed it, .308Win and 6.5Creedmoor.

Anything out about these yet, this is sorta mind blowing to me, I didn't expect that at all! Very interested, they seem reasonably priced too.

Give in to the dark side.

.308 ARs may cost about 1.5-2x as much per round to shoot, but they're 3-4x as much fun per round. I bought a Colt 901 last summer because I figured election panic was coming, the Dallas shooting had just happened, and I wanted the one gun I'd take to the apocalypse incase a Democrat super majority was elected alongside Hillary.

I should've done this a long time ago. I don't even give two shits about firing my 5.56 guns anymore except to maintain skills. They're so hopelessly boring.

Yeah, there really is something special about shooting a .308 through my LR308. I love shooting that round and watching a plate getting smacked with authority at 600 and hearing the ping a second later.

It's my favorite round to shoot, I'll never stop using it.

Looks like it's going to be the MSR 10 Hunter from Savage.

http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/MSR10Hunter seems like a hell of a lot of gun for the money, and with a 5R barrel. And only 7.8lb

Just looking for reviews on it, I'm sure it accurate, just curious about the range of factory ammo that it will reliably cycle and if it will eat 7.62x51 or if it must have .308Win.

Recoil impulse.  FAL is a nominal push. Comparatively it is a slow roll on of recoil.  the AR10 feels all at once, a sharp hit if you will.  Its not a hard or heavy recoil by any measure.  Buy when I have to chose I grab the FAL every time.  Simply due to the fact its more enjoyable for me to shoot.

The AR10 is normally more accurate. but I have no issues hitting 18" steel at 500 with either.  Beyond that I prefer different options
