I shall remain silent no more. Long live the 'Woo! Hipster of 5.56mm rifles, doing pistons before pistons were cool.

I had to put up with you flashing your Woo at me every 48 hours.  I brought one in from an auction months ago and the serial came up hot... had to turn in to the Po-Po.  The Woo has been my nemesis.  But now I want a K1A1.
My living room isn't big enough for black rifle family photos anymore.    But, to be fair, it's because I live in a shoebox.

I guess I can Woo now.  I picked this up earlier in the week.  Haven't shot it yet but like the feel of it.

Some of the folks on the forums have truly staggering collections.  This is nothing compared to a lot of folks.

I'm proud of what I've got, but it isn't brag-worthy yet.  I'm just another nerd.

Same here... I go stuff but it is nothing special. I consider myself fancy since I have a HK SLB2000.

I know I'm the odd man out here, but I actually like the t-hole stock on my 200 and wouldn't change it.

I bought it for something different, not to make it look like the dozens of other AR variants in the house.  And it's a good shooter as it is.

YMMV and probably does, 'cause most do.

There is a LOT to be said for the DR-200s.  Yes, some of us prefer the uber-80s folding stock and bayo lug... and the extra dickish among us even care about the model markings (K2 vs Max) once we figure out what the hell they were doing with the markings, but at the end of the day, the post-89s still deliver the same features and operating system.  The stock/furniture boils down to preference, but the gun is still there in any iteration.

I'd actually be more inclined to use an abuse a DR-200 over a pre-89.

Well, I finally got a chance to try it out.  I like it!  Good sight picture for steel at 150-200 yds.  Sights were set a little low but I didn't have time to mess with them.  Tried three different mags (D&H, okay, and colt).   Only problem is a round popped out of the D&H while inserting it into magwell.  I was shooting a mix of factory and reloads.  Had a primer come out of a factory round (FC 04).  I disassembled it to find the primer but it was rattling around in the mag.  First thought it was my reload but the primer had sealant residue on it.  Afterwards action felt gritty but still ran but not smooth when cycled by hand.  Pulled it back apart and lubed it.  Still gritty until I wiped operating rod with oily cloth.  That slicked it back up.  Ran fmj and sp's smoothly.  I guess I'm going to have to start looking for a k2.  Thanks for the input from everyone.
