Hello all. Hoping I can get some help.
I have found this site to be invaluable many times in the past.
Now I have a challenge!
I recently went to a yard sale, nothing much there, mostly rusty tools, too far gone to use or cheap and useless even if not rusted, and old lady decorations.
BUT I found a little old metal tackle-box, I love finding things like this with little odds and ends in it that could be used in the garage at some point.
Well I open it up and to my surprise, right on top, I find an original Springfield Armory 1911 barrel. Well that was enough right there to buy it for the 5 bucks they were asking.
BUT, it didn't end there. I get it home and start rummaging through it and find close to a dozen more original 1911 parts.
And MORE in odd parts, one of which was a very old Savage rear sight with windage, apparently hard to find since they sell on ebay for close to $200.
But the rest I have no clue.
So Im hoping the internet can identify some parts for me!

Also here is my ebay page, pictures of the parts I did identify already can be seen there.
http://www.ebay.com/usr/mjenk86

I was thinking this might be some kind of little wrench for a gun part.

Clearly the rear sight off of something, not sure what.

Two different front sight hoods from something.  Marlin has been suggested, cant seem to find any that quite look right.

Some kind of sight apertures maybe? Really not sure what these are pretty sure a gun part though.

Can't even guess what this is.

And the other barrel. Like I said Im thinking 9mm but not sure.  As seen in the image below, smaller than 9mm, but bigger than .22. Not real familiar with the in-between calibers my self, .25 auto? .32? .35?
And this one was figured out, it is the barrel of a Mauser HSc in .32 auto.

This is a bolt off of something, broken badly could not be used. But if it something rare I could epoxy it and sell it to use to rebuild something just to hang on a wall or something.
Well this WAS an M1 Carbine bolt, worthless now. Im going to epoxy it, clan it, and put it out somplace as a conversation piece.

Not a clue what these are.

Maybe two different firing pins?

Clueless again.
This is the firing pin for a Mossberg .22

The little "fins" stick out on this thing when squeezed, looks like a newer part, may not even be a gun part , no idea.
This little guy is a Dual brand stacker spindle for a turntable. Pretty neat little find.

No clue.

Again clueless, I tried my best to take good pictures of this thing and took the pieces apart to show, not sure if anyone will even be able to clearly make out what this is.

Im thinking this is some kind of push button on something. Mag release maybe?

And the 1911 parts I already have listed on ebay, if anyone is interested in them I can post pictures of those too.

Hope you all can help me out here and have fun figuring these puzzle pieces out.

might have to cast the chamber or test fit with a round to verify the chambering. Look like 9mm of some ilk, though.

Could be but its smooth with rounded edges all around, where as most trim like that Ive seen would have a flat surface where it mounted, and some kind of contour to match where it was mounted. This is totally flat, rounded, and no signs of any means by which it was mounted to anything.
But like I said Im clueless so it could be haha.

...I really dont know why I didnt think of checking with a round.....and my judgment of size is very off apparently lol

This is what happened when I checked a 9mm with it.

The sight hoods look a lot like the one that was on my 16" Marlin 45-70.  It went flying off the gun a while back so not sure.

The shiny chrome post with the pop out fins appears to be from a "record player".  Remember those?  The thing is set up so you can put 3 or 4 records on it (the size makes it look like it's for LPs (33&1/3 speed) and it will drop the bottom one but hold the others, till the first one is played through, then it drops the next one after the arm is off the record and out of the way.

Good call - definitely a turntable spindle.

Assuming this ebay listing is correct that seems to be 100% right.
Thank you very much for your help!

the busted bolt is for an M1 carbine. It's a paperweight now.

100% correct Thank you very much for the help.
Too bad I LOVE M1 Carbines never had the pleasure of firing one but just having a bolt as a shelf ornament is kind of neat. Ill just Epoxy it and clean it and set it someplace as a conversation piece.

The first of the 2 possible firing pins looks more like a revolver cylinder pin.

I think that rear open sight MIGHT be for a Winchester Model 94.  Not really sure though.  It's different than my Marlins.  And my Dad has a 94 and I think it looks like that.

I would bet a substantial sum that is a firing pin for a .22RF.

I thought the same things but it doesnt have any grooves or anything that would hold the rim of a cartridge.

maybe, I looked them up and they do look different. The point off the rear is shorter on the model 94, and it doesnt have the screw holes. And the blade at the front seems different too.

Yes, the RF is common shorthand for "rimfire."

You need to use the "quote" button instead of [reply] when you are responding to a specific comment - gets a bit confusing.

I agree with the poster who thinks that the leaf sights are from a win 94.  The front sight hoods look like they could be off a 94 as well.

No ideal what this peep site goes to, but it's a peep site.  Probably for some form of .22 rifle.  It screws to the receiver through the hole in front. You can adjust the elevation by sliding the bottom piece back and forth.

Seating plug for a Lyman 310 seating die (32-20?).  Part on the right is a primer seater for an old single stage press.  "291" is a top punch for a lyman lubrisizer- probably for a 311291 bullet mold (30 caliber--pretty popular cast bullet).  Toss it--piss poor condition.
