I have aa MTM K-Zone Shooting Rest that I want to add weight to so it doesn't slide around so easily but I have no Idea what I should use.

I generally use aquarium gravel. Not dusty, or subject to being eaten.

Depends on how much weight you want to add. You could try play sand, you can get it at Home Depot, pretty cheap for a 50lb bag and it's sterilized. For more weight, some shotgun lead shot, small fishing weights or cut up some wheel weights. I guess in between would be small stones, fish gravel or marbles. I guess anything really as long as it won't promote a growth.

I just use playground sand.

I am not a big fan of sand because inevitably you end up with sand in your range bag an eventually on your ammunition, cleaning kit, in your action, etc.

I use white "polished" rice (not parboiled rice) and never had a problem. It is heavy enough to stay in place, light enough to carry around and giving enough to conform with whatever you are resting on it.

As always, YMMV

This is what I have.  I bought 8000 bbs at Walmart to fill it up.

Airsoft pellets. S00tch just made a video using them in a sock to make a simple rest.

I used air soft pellets and they worked well. However I think this might be the cheaper way to go.

I've always though soybeans coated with a polyurethane would be a sweet filler.

Yep. Beans work well. I've also used wheat.

That worked until mice in my garage found the bag full of wheat and chewed through it. Then they proceeded to hide it in the engine compartment of my car.
