So I was digging around the internet reading bits and pieces about the original Benelli import (m121) being the fastest cycling semi-auto shotgun in the world. I got my hands on one and tried it out.

Seems pretty damn fast to me, but I still managed to outrun the gun with .12 splits. If you slow it down to .25 speed you can see the 6th trigger pull resulting in a dead trigger. Also notice that all 5 shells are in the air at the same time, although one is off screen.

Going to go out with the FN SLP and see if it can do any better.

I'm curious how it compares to Beretta's current models.

is the wooden stock on the 121 still sticky?

Funny you should ask. I just fitted a polymer stock to it that same day b/c I managed to bang up the old one.

Same here... got mine while stationed in Germany back in 1985.
