I bought the Tavor and got a Super Sabra trigger on sale which puts the Tavor in whole other league.  No SBR hassles but still 16" ballistics, super reliable Compact rifle if your interested in CQB.

Good question. I had a scar and decided i was more dedicated to the ar platform and it wasn't enough of a departure.  So traded for a wilson 1911.  I too want something different now and am thinking a tavor or a aug is the answer.  Ill be interested to read what you choose. My only stipulation is that it needs to run well suppressed.

Of the list you presented, for me it would be the Scar H/17s without hesitation, followed by the Tavor.  The Scar H would fill the battle rifle role that is lacking in my collection , and it's the only rifle that looks good in FDE in my eyes.  Would be a nice departure from all the black guns I have.

The Tavor would be next because at some point I gotta have a bullpup mixed in there as well.

That gets my vote as well. I have a whole bunch of ARs, not to mention several other rifles, but I really enjoy my TAVOR. I had been wanting one every since I saw a Futureweapons episode back in 2010 that featured the new IWI TAVOR at the IMI complex in Israel. Early last year, I finally got mine and made a few changes to it.

I'm in the exact same boat and buying something this week.  Aug's on CDNN for $1599 w/5 mags seems like a great deal?  Also considering Tavor, Scar 16, Beretta ARX and ACR.  I want a long term safe queen, which one will hold it's value best?  Seems like the Scars haven't come down much.  I like the Beretta a lot but not sure about how it would hold value since they already seem to be a few hundred under MSRP.  ACR seems like an odd gun that might be worth something down the road too, I don't see a lot of them around, maybe there's some issues with them?  I'm not looking for a precision gun, just safe queen/range toy.

Plenty of people get 1.0-1.5 moa out of scars - especially the 17.  I can ring steel at 500 yards using commie ammo all day long.  The 16 just feels good to me though.

In the end, you have something equal to or better than an ARX 100 and SCAR. The question is, how much do you want to try a bullpup?

I own the SCAR 16 and Tavor.   I think you'd be good with any but the ARX.   I'd give those a year or two to shake out and let the price normalize.

My ARX 100 w/Trijicon TA47.  The first time I picked one up I wasn't sure about it, but the more I handled it the more I liked it, so I bought it.  It's been awesome since day one.  Causes a lot of people at the range to ask questions about it too.

Did you catch a case of the ABN_infantryman?

Because then yes, all, in fde.

Real talk. SCAR L is a a waste of money. TAVOR/AUG are cute and fun for less than a year. SCAR H actually fills many useful roles at one time and is a hoot to shoot.

I've had everything on your list except for the ARX-100.  Still have the SCAR 17 and two AUGs. My vote would be for either although I wouldn't get the AUG CQC, unnecessarily heavy.

I vote ARX-100 over SCAR-16S unless you are really set on a .308 rifle which the Beretta ARX doesn't do.

The ARX just has all the controls in the right places, is fully ambidextrous and doesn't have an over complicated quick change barrel that requires tools... Unlike the SCAR.

I would love to have a .308 Larue.  But unless I find one used, I don't see myself putting in an order and waiting.  I really would like one of the fde SR-25s.  But they're nearly the price of two scar 17s.  If I did get either a Larue, or the Knights, I would probably take my scope of my 17 and put an eotech on it, which is a pretty bad ass setup IMHO.

I don't think they've said yet.  I would guess similar to SR-25.  They are also releasing a 16 inch barrel version without the reciprocating charging handle called the CSR, which should be less msrp as I understand it.

Considering that the 17S is capable of shooting @1k do you think it will be a worthwhile upgrade? And the website says non folding stock, what's the big black folding block looking thing?

I really liked the LWRC REPR. I just couldn't justify the cost to myself. Compared to the SCAR, I think it looks better and has better ergos with the FAL style left side non reciprocating charging handle. Plus you don't have to wait until the next coming of the messiah, like you would with an OBR.

Larue is reportedly caught up.

I think buy something with tons of proprietary shit (POF, LWRCI) is a bad idea. At least the SCAR will have consistent aftermarket support due to it's service use.

The Aug and Tavor are significant from a collector's point of view in that they are used by contemporary militaries and their bullpup configuration represents an appreciable departure from other designs. I would go with one of them.

I read somewhere that the mk20 is capable of 1/4 moa.  No idea if that is true.  I wouldn't trade my 17 for the 20 since I think the 17 shines more as a battle rifle but is still capable of reaching out.  I'm not a "precision" shooter.  And it's hard to justify getting a more capable .308 when I can ring a 12 inch steel plate at 500 yards consistently with 155 grain China sport cheap ammo.  That's pretty damn good for my purposes - though I'm sure that would still be laughed at by the real "precision" shooters.

One of the perks of the scar system is the ability to change out the barrels pretty easily.  If they would just sell us the 20 inch barrels . . . .

I have no idea what that black thing is.  It looks like a hinge, having viewed it from both sides.

Christ. Too much. Wasn't someone making aftermarket SCAR17 BBLs? Maybe as the poster suggested above that a 20 inch conversion bbl would be a better option.
