I came across a guy wanting to sell a model 70 manufactured in 1971. The gun is in excellent shape & has just a few scratches on it, but nothing major. What would value this gun @ & what would you consider getting it a steal @ price wise.

About $400 to $500 is a fair price.  About $250 would be a steal.
