A friend of mine has amassed a large collection of guns and she asked me to help her value some of them. This 1990 vintage model 70 has a beautiful stock and is in 3006 and like new. What is a fair price to put on this rifle?

Here is a 1976 Vintage model 70 in 243. What is this worth today? It is in very good like new condition:

That one in .243 is like my dream gun.  That thing is beautiful.  I have no clue what they are worth though.  Sorry.  I'm guessing they don't have the sought after pre 70 claw extraction.

I'll dig around a little later today when I have time, but probably not a whole lot.

I wouldn't put a price tag on them till you get a good consensus but maybe a few hundred bucks a piece 500-900 maybe?

Post 1964 Winchesters don't being much money unless they are rare, like new, or a higher grade.

Wouldn't have any idea about value, but the 06 in the top pictures sure is a great looking piece

Non clawed Win mod 70's are less desirable.  Pre 64 win mod 70's are the most desirable from a collectors point of view and whatever year they put the claw back on to the present are the most desirable for sportsmen.

I wouldn't expect to get more than a nicely stocked rem 700 for those Winchesters money wise.

Very pretty wood on the '06. Like others have said those aren't the most desirable M70s due to their vintage and push feed actions. My guess is you might get close to $800-900 for the '06 just because of the stock, and maybe around $600-700 for the .243
