So I received my Surefire Pro Comp from Brownells yesterday and I am going to install it on my 16" Tavor. My question is the Pro Comp does not have flats to use a armorers tool. Instructions state to use a 3/4" wrench. What advice can anyone give to not mar the finish on it? It should be easy to index since the Tavor has the locking nut (no peel or crush washers needed).

Called Surefire. They were very helpful. Instead of using a 3/4" open end wrench, they suggested an adjustable to get a perfect fit and less marring of the Pro Comp surface. Worked like a charm. I torked it and the lock nut to 25lbs but I need to read the Tavor manual for the proper number.
