Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - need help with old shotgun identification - .410 break action

hey everyone, i need your help please!

i have a friend that needs some information about the gun in the attached picture, does anyone know what it is or have any info on it please let me know?

All that we know is that it is a .410 break action shotgun. It has a Damascus barrel.  The make and model stampings are hard to read, but it may be a Stevens?

Someone is not trying hard enough...there are marking somewhere on that gun I assure you.  



Does the barrel break by use of the trigger guard?  If so, in which direction does it move?  Up and down or side to side?

That's a stevens tip up shotgun
could be a model 1875
