That is concerning since I ordered the same thing on the 12/23. I hope you are joking and just trying to get a rise out of everyone?

I ordered two BCG on 12/23, they arrived today.

^^^^ Congrats! Here is hoping. As for the previous poster, I agree with what you say. However, I think RGUNS should do a better job of stating their inventory state. They brought this dislike on themselves. That is not to say people should call that lady names or treat the employees disrespectfully, that is not acceptable behavior for adults. But RGUNS is doing a poor job of communicating to its clientele.

I agree completely.

I think one of their more problematic practices is the "in-stock" still being on some items that won't ship for ages. If they're having such trouble getting orders out, they had probably shut their ordering system down until they can get caught up, or, at very least, do a better job with inventory ( as you stated).

Also, for those that have gotten their items recently, are you getting Tracking numbers or shipping notifications? Or are your purchases just showing up?

If Rguns put stuff OUT of STOCK then they might not get the sale, I guess they feel they will take as many orders as they can and maybe they can keep them filled. Just my opinion

Ordered one Nickel Boron Bolt Carrier 12-232012. Just received on 2-22-2013. Noticed it has the color of Nickel Boron but the texture/smoothness of Hard Chrome. Dull in color and I dont think it was as polished prior to the coating, compared to their earlier versions. No...I won't be sending it back. Just an observation.

Hmmm, so my CC that I had backordered an RGUNS upper and stripped lower with was cancelled the other day after the WMD fiasco. I emailed RGUNS to tell them that my CC was cancelled and how do I update my information. The guy simply responded with, "EMAIL IT." I DO NOT want to email them my CC info and have it sitting idle in the inbox for god knows how long, then trust that they delete the number after my order is taken care of. If I was in the habit of emailing my CC info, i would've emailed Laura from Young and ordered a few BCGs. I will call them and update over the phone (not much better, I know), not via email! I should start a thread that is titled, "So how many of your backorders did the WMD fiasco f*ck up?"

Ordered a lower and an upper(no barrel) on 1/17/2013.

Upper was in stock. Been about a month, hopefully getting money pulled soon.

Lower obviously expect more time but thats the part the counts anyways haha.

If you read through this thread you'll see that nothing was actually in stock and/or they are soooo swamped that it is taking forever. I ordered an upper on Jan 3 and based on this thread I'm figuring at least 2-3 more weeks or longer.....

It seems to me like the latter, but I don't know for sure. Folks have steadily been reporting getting their items. Some things they've said are backordered or unavailable, but Rguns seems to be calling those folks to see about substitutions.

Then again, people that have ordered certain items, like BCG's, seem to be getting product quicker than those who ordered complete uppers (or full rifle kits, like me).

Also, as time has gone on, it seems that they're shipping slower. The orders from 12-23 were processed and shipped for a couple weeks. I've just now (in the past couple of days) seen orders from 12-24 and up start getting charged and shipped. Then again, someone who ordered from 12-27 has already gotten their BCG, so I don't know what exactly is going on up there.

Haven't heard a peep since my order on 1/14, except that right after the order was placed, I emailed and asked if I could include a pair of barrel nuts or if i should place a new order. Got an immediate response that they would be added to the existing order. I had high hopes of getting the BCG and nuts within a month and a half but it looks like I was wrong. Have the same situation with Red X Arms for an upper and barrel, plus with Delta 3 Tactical for a buffer tube kit. Nothing has shown up, all ordered in mid January.

I cancelled my orders, which totaled about $1,500.

(A) There was no end in sight on the waiting as I ordered in early-mid January and it doesn't even look like they broke into the '13 orders yet.

(B) Their attitude is shit.

(C) Had to ask myself why I was spending $1,500 on sub-par products from a sub-par company when I could spend a little more and apply that $$$ towards high quality products from reputable vendors.

They had to take thee $100 fee down because they were getting charged back by the ccard companies.

You can't list something as in stock, accept orders for it, not ship it, and then charge a cancellation fee.

That is a no-go to credit card companies.

Especially since the information wasn't on the checkout process, just the home page.

I will let you guys know if/when I get my orders. I have ordered a lot of stuff from them in 4/5 separate orders.

Just out of curiosity, what makes their products so sub-par? I've never heard anyone bitch yet about Rguns quality, only their service and attitude. Why would AIM (the best vendor I know) sell their products if they were sh!t?

Dislcaimer: I've never dealt with Rguns before, and have only seen them at local gun shows. I have their basic M4 upper and stripped lower on order.

EDIT: And off to my local gun show I go. I hope Rguns is there so I can grill them (and probably get told to go get fucked lol!) on my backorder

Compared against Noveske, Daniel Defense & Adams Arms, the Rguns products are Sub-par would you not agree? Why spend $600 for an Rguns upper when you can save up a little more and get a Noveske, Daniel Defense or Adams arms for $800-$1,000? That extra couple of hundred bucks goes a Looooooong way towards superior quality from superior companies that know how to treat customers right.

Of course Rguns would be sub-par to those manufacturers. Rguns base model upper is only $425 though. That's cheap as hell! If you want to start a budget build, they're a good way to go if you have lots and lots of patience. At the $500-600 mark I would be looking at Spikes, RRA, Stag, etc.

On a side note, Rguns was still not present at the local gun show in my area this morning. They must be busy in the shop.

Edit: oh yeah, my main point with my first post was that it sounded you were knocking them with no experience whatsoever of their product. And you kind of proved that with your response. Customer service and quality products are two roots of the same tree but totally different entities in themselves.

you hit the nail on the head. You are only spending $400 on a COMPLETE upper. If you want DD, Adams, etc, you can't get that for less than $800.

Hit submit on the order. Know it will take 2 months. Know they have crabby service personalities. Know you are spending less than what the market dictates presently.

...or go spend $900 for a complete upper and have your stuff this week.

Canceled my order also Ive been waiting for a complete upper since 1/3. i have to wonder if some of the more positive posts of "i finally got my upper or my card has been finally charge" are actually Rguns employees stringing us along or if they are legit customers. I have yet to see anyone post pics of their just in upper. If you look at some of there post counts and join dates they seem to be either dec or jan new joins. Go figure??? Maybe I'm wrong, but im pretty sure they monitor this site and will do anything they can to keep the hope alive. Just my 2 cents.

Ordered phosphate BCG 12/23/12
CC charged 2/1/13
Delivered 2/8/13

Every weapon of military utility designed within the past 100+ years was gone. This isn’t society stocking up on certain guns because they fear they may be banned. This is a society preparing for war.

I bought a couple of RGuns upper receivers from AIM Surplus a few months ago. They look good but are still in their packages awaiting the acquisition of more components to complete the builds.

I placed an order with RGuns on 1/10/13 for a 5.56 semi- BCG thinking I would give one a try. Hopefully I'll receive it by March 1. If not I'll wait a bit longer then reassess.

Probably won't buy anything else from RGuns, more due to what I've read seems to be a poor attitude of ownership/management.

We'll see.
