I wouldn't think that either option would last very long though. Beretta really needs to come out with their port cover that already exists and just sell it over here. |

It's just residue coming out the unused ejection port side, nothing that would cause a problem. |

I'm on the fence right now. ARX 100 or DP 12 shotgun. I don't want to buy the ARX if a new model comes out. I've googled beretta forums but the only place I've seen this rumor is here. Damn which one to get? If they discontinue the current version of the ARX-100 there might not be any support for it in the future... So I would at least wait to see what Shot Show brings. Also, if you like any of the features that are on the current version those features might not be a part of a newer model's design. |

I like the quick change barrel like on my XCR which makes cleaning a breeze. The 200 looks awesome. I'll wait.

Wouldn't worry too much about lack of support since most of the parts are -160 compatible and that'll be in production for years to come. |

Any word if they're still doing that "intelligent rail" thing where the picatinny rail is basically power and ethernet, run by four 18650 batteries in the stock?
That is seriously fucking cool. |

Honestly...that will be years out in my opinion. The ARX-200 isn't available yet...however...you never know in the firearms industry. I think you will see a major country adapt the next platform before Beretta releases it to the public...just by looking at how Beretta has released firearms in the past. The only parts I can see replacing are springs, extractors and firing pins...which are usually available through Brownell's....I love my ARX100. |

They've got all the hallmarks of a shady business that lists everything as "in stock" whether it is or not and just charges you and holds onto your order if they don't. Your Steiner was probably actually in stock. I guess the items we ordered weren't. |

I ordered an "in stock" bipod last week... finally (after a week) got someone (albeit an absolute clown of a sales rep) to confirm that it is not in stock and that the warehouse has no ETA. That said, my ARX shipped within three days from them a few months ago. I'm going to wait it out because the price was so good but this will be my last order from them. |

I'm thinking of getting the CR2 riser from eBay. Which is the closer color match to the rifle, FDE or Coyote Brown?
|
|
|
I ordered the coyote, and its definitely darker than the rifle, FDE should be lighter than the rifle. Its such an odd shade of field drab.
With my fde index clips, BUIS, and mags, plus the coyote riser, my ARX is starting to look like a scar |

So I don't actually own this rifle yet but it's on order from Botach. I got it at the $1199 for the FDE version and utilized the $1000 gift card offer for $850 during Veterans Day.
Well today I get an email from Botach about a price drop to $1100. This for both the black and FDE versions. I called Botach and since it has not shipped yet, they were able to give me the new $1100 price. So.....when you take into account free shipping, the $150 gift and price drop, I ended up paying $950 + $25 transfer. As of this writing they have 6 FDE in stock. |

MAGAZINE PROMOTION UPDATE
For a submission made around Oct 22nd, we today received an email from Beretta containing an online store credit and credit code, for the exact amount necessary for purchasing 5 mags, with free shipping. Yea, thank God the election made it where mags are not a hot commodity, but I'm still excited about getting five more of the fine Beretta mags for free. If you submitted a request, and listed an email, check your email and spam filter. |

Prices on the ARX 100 are blow outs because of the an upgraded model coming soon from what I heard.
|
|
|
|
Botach's had the blowout pricing on the ARX since early this year. I don't think it has anything to do with the rumor of an upgraded version.
The rumor is the usual "heard it from a friend in know" from exactly one person, which isn't worth much on the internet. Watch what the Italians are doing with the evolution of the military ARX-160. The development of the ARX-200 will likely have clues to what's coming from Beretta in the future too, but isn't "done" either. Until there's confirmation, this rumor needs to be taken with a shaker of salt. |

In fact, it seems from the owner's manual that removing the barrel is considered part of the routine field strip. Brownell's has the factory barrel assemblies in stock. On the one hand, $450 is not inexpensive, but it's nice to know that spares are already available. I believe they are CHF. |
