I'm not sure if I have now lost respect for EOTech, or really want to buy one, or maybe I've lost respect for them, want to buy one, and hate myself for wanting one...

just joining in to get the money they can get from it. Same as Hornady and Leupold. they have minimal cost in branding it as such, and if it makes a few people choose that over a competitor to get their zombie fix... more power to them

Not to piss anybody off, but this whole zombie thing is sooooo lame (IMO). Especially the Zombie furniture. I definitely have my guns because they're fun, but I don't need to dress them up like toy's to get my rocks off. I just don't see the point.

Anywho..... back to business. Yup, I think I lost a bit of respect for them. I'm sure it's a fine optic, but why?

The zombie thing is ha ha funny at best, but c'mon really? I run an eotech and have nothing but great things to say about the 512 I've got. Joining the zombie marketing bandwagon takes something from the otherwise respectable legitimacy of the company IMO. Dont drink the kool aid

Yeah if the SHTF and it's TEOTWAWKI.......

Much easier to shoot your "hungry" neighbors or the folks coming in from the cities if they're zombies....

Exactly.

If they can make money go them, zombies are a hot topic right now and it sells.

It's like the Hornady zombie ammo, Ruger zombie LCP's, Leupold Zombie scopes, all good for a laugh and a smile, but pointless and stupid. If Eotech can make a silly reticle like that, why not make something more useful than the dot and circle. I wouldn't put that dumb thing on anything of mine even if it was given to me. No biggie anyway, the T1 micro is the way to go anyway.

What the hell were they thinking with that reticle by adding that much clutter to the site picture for a laugh at the expense of reduced functionality? I'm guessing they made it for the range toy arsenal.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. They should have posted this to their site on April 1st so everyone could have a laugh, instead it's just a depressing sign of where human intelligence is headed. Above all, it makes L3 look like a joke.

All these "Zombie" stamped products ought to thrown in a bucket of Wise DH meals, or MRE's at the least. Just so you know they mean bidness. I just think it's an attempt at a little fun on a corporate level, and that's cool. Some will buy them just as a collector item. "Remember 2011-2012? Approaching zombie apocolypse? Well, here in 2040 I offer you this official "ZOMBIE" stamped optic! How much am I bid?". Like that..

I'll take zombie branding any day of the week. If I hear the word "operator" or "special forces" in any more gun adds, I'm going to go nuts!

You forgot to mention Operators that think it's manly to abuse their gear and/or not ever clean their guns.

I remember calling Kimber (when I worked at a gun shop) about the SIS model. The kimpro paint job is very slick, and isn't an issue with my DW. However I couldn't get a good grip on the slide of the SIS. The guy on the phone said "Well we designed it for real Operators, and they typically use gloves." ..........

Must suck to be a 15-year-old girl whining all the damn time. Dont like it? Dont buy it. Every gun accessory doesnt have to be for the tier 1 SEALs like you girls.

I do not care how stupid it is if the end product means that more people enter our hobby and it becomes more socially acceptable ensuring our 2A rights.

When did you guys all become a bunch of hipsters?
