Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trying to Match Aervoe to Ammo Cans

Actually I want to paint my rifle the same woodland green as standard ammo cans. Tried Aervoes post wwii olive drab but it's much too brown. I've tried looking at Aervoes sight but I just can't get a good feel of the colors from the tiny little computer generated samples that they show. Anybody have any experience or maybe even photos they'd care to share?

Woodland or forest green are the 2 closest matches - woodland probably best bet

Thanks for the advice. The next problem was finding it! Finally found some place called Army Surplus Warehouse out in Idaho. They had both woodland and forest so I just bought them both to be on the safe side.
