I've got a PSA stainless barrel that I want to give a matt gray stainless finish too, what grit media should I use in my sand blaster to give it a duller finish?  I've given a Stag Arms stainless barrel a matt finish using a blast booth at work (media grit unknown) but it was still a little too shiny and I don't want a repeat.

Fine glass beads at the lowest pressure that will feed them. I blast paint off at 120 lbs, but it leaves a rougher finish than say 60 lbs does. Too much air pressure can also leave the finish dark, similar to Rugers "Target Gray". Lower pressures will leave you with a softer, frosty look.
