I picked this rifle up on the cheap ('05 Bushy) and have been using it as much as I can and adding a good bit of wear in the process. Since it's clearly not safe queen, I spray painted it and am relatively pleased with the outcome. I'm sure it will wear down again, but I'll just blast it some more. Before and after pics below.
