Hey all, in need of a recommendation of a finish. I have a Surefire 317 forend weapon light. I  like the light well enough, but could do without the big grey patch on it. It is made of a slightly tacky rubber like material. What would be a good durable, black color finish to cover it with. I am fairly sure others must have thought of this. Thanks in advance.

Because it's rubber and has give to it, you'll more than likely have issues with anything you put on it. Most coatings won't be able to adhere to it, and if they do at first it's more than likely to crack or peel off down the road.
