Has anyone here done an 80% lower and then anodized or re-anodized the piece after it was finished?  I was told there was a pinned thread on here, but wasn't able to pull it up.

I've DIY anodized several lowers. Here's a thread on the topic: Anodizing

Caswell now sells a Type III kit. Eventually I'd like to try it out, but it's nearly a $1000 set up just to get started. Something I'd like to play with sometime in the future for personal projects and maybe a side business.

Though, not something I'd invest in for a single project. Mainly it's something I'd like to try because US Anodizing is hard to reach and won't anodize a color I want.
