This is my hunting/desert rifle, a home built 20" PSA, she has several thousand rounds through it and the finish was starting to get a little beat up.  Cleaned and prepped with alcohol, hit with a base coat of khaki and finished with some dark brown.

Letting her dry overnight

Finished Product

Camo even works on the carpet!

Overall pretty happy with how it came out,  was not too bad to do.  If your on the fence just do it, its not all that hard, just take your time.

I like those colors, looks sharp.

Why didn't you paint the barrel?

Nice. Now you just need to paint the ACOG and the barrel.

It's rattlecan.  You use it enough anyways and it's going to get scratched, come off, etc anyways.  The barrel will just turn a slightly different color

I finally got the balls to rattlecan the furniture on my "working" rifle, I still can't bring myself to paint the rest though.
