Has anyone tried wood stock stippling?  As I understand it, there are three techniques: dremel w/ fine bit, nail and hammer, and stippling punch and hammer.  Which way is easiest?  I think I am going to go find a piece of scrap wood and try it for myself.

I would assume a stippling punch would be faster and probably look better.

I've always wanted to try it.

I just picked up a tiny diamond bit for my dremel.  I am going to try the dremel and nail method this weekend.  I will report back with results.  If they both suck, I will order the bunch from Brownells.
