Looking at getting the Ultimak gas tube on my AK hydrodipped with some other parts, but that gas tube gets HOT when shooting. Will the hydrodip hold up to the heat?  The guy that does it (he did the cerakote on my rifle and it came out fantastic) states that with the hydrodip, he uses a certain base coat, applies the film, then a few coats of matte clear.

More than likely no. If it gets hot enough it will burn right off.
Even using high temp base coats, the inks in the dip aren't designed to take that type of abuse.
