Does it not work on plastic? I like the urban gray colors and I was going to buy the Jack rifle pretty much for the color. I am looking for someone in IL to coat my rifle for me and I like the grays or if all else fails I can do FDE and get matching furniture.

My local Cerakote guy does polymer coatings all the time.  He charges a little bit more for it though...

Thank you for the response, is this something I can do or should I take it in somewhere? I dont think a lot of people do it in my area.

You could Duracoat it yourself. I have had great luck with it.

Works on pretty much anything except flexible rubber parts.

Not sure why someone would charge more for painting polymers and plastics though...

Oven time a different temp,  thus limiting capacity would be my guess.

Dan, after looking at the tung/ graph blk I am leaning towards a mixture of the 2 colors. I wrote down the ratios. I just need to see more pics.
