Longer-range, taken from across my yard, probably 20 or so yards.

What do you think

I think it looks damn good! How about a close up shot?

Looks good I think. Take a picture away from the thing it's camouflaged the most with.

Looks good from my house.

Looks really good. How was it done? Sponge? Colors? Looks like it would match my AO as well.

Method:  sponge camo job as shown here:  How to Camo Your AR15
Color: Rust Oleum Khaki for base, Rust Oleum Deep Forest Green (NOT ARMY GREEN, THAT COLOR IS PEA-GREEN!), and Rust Oleum Dark Earth Brown.

Base coat of Khaki across rifle and scope.  Then once dry, approximately an hour later, took the Deep Forest Green and sponged it across the base to form roughly vertical stripes.  Once the green was dry, then I took the Dark Earth Brown on a smaller sponge and randomly dabbed it over all the tan and green areas; it was literally random, I had no pattern in mind.   Then once everything had dried, about an hour later, I used Rust Oleum Clear Coat MATTE (very important, if you use "gloss" or "satin" the gun will be shiny, and that's BAD) and applied 3 coats of clear coat.

All told, took about 5 hours (passive time), maybe an hour of active time.  Cost was about $30 for the paint and sponges.

Thanks, I wanna try painting my next build but think my camo jobs have turned out like crap in the past.

Trick is, go slow, and use light sprays.  Follow the directions in that video and I think you'll be pleased.

Looks really good! Very disruptive to the eye.

My one nitpick would be that your modeling is very much a pattern---evenly spaced out blotches. To take that camo to the next level, consider a third color (or slight off-tone of your existing scheme) and "thicken" some of the areas so you have different sized blotches.

Overall, looks very good and very effective.

One of the better rattle can paint jobs I've seen, nicely done.

Looks really good. How durable is a rattle can paint job?  Should I worry about chipping or flaking? What about heat from firing?

Not that durable.

I did the sponge method on a Mossberg ATR (cheap gun) last season.  Paint on metal is holding up really well.  But on the plastic stock, not so.

But, it is so easy to fix them

Trick is using a clear coat on top, using several layers of it.
