I read on here somewhere to use a product called Krud Kutter Graffiti remover to remove paint from plastic and I am sure you can use it on metal, brick etc. This shit works!

I recently bought this stock from an Arfcommer. I received it today and spent an hour on it.

Thanks for the reply.

Care to share how you removed the paint without scratching the hell out of the stock?

I just completely uncamo'd my rifle this weekend. Just soak a paper towel in goof off and wipe the first layer off. After a while of this, drizzle the part with goof off and scrub with a nylon brush.

As for the graffiti remover version, it is usually gel, so spray it on, let sit, scrub off.

Thanks for the info! Do you happen to have any experience removing it from a Magpul moe pistol grip with its real porous texture? I've tried using brake cleaner before but it didn't turn out as clean as I wanted it. You could still see the khaki color in pores...

I just cleaned an A2 stock, MIAD, and MOE handguard with it. Definitely needed a nylon brush in the textured parts, everywhere else pretty well wiped clean.

I saw goof off graffiti remover today at the hardware store but was hesitant to buy it because it says it may harm some plastics. Is this what you used on your Magpul stuff?

I use the regular goof off liquid. The stuff we sell at work said ok for plastics. Wonder if thats an old can or something.

I'm not sure but it says it is part of their "professional" line.
