Bubble is taped off, hash marks on scope are taped off, etc. Everything is still taped up in the pics since I'm not sure if I'm done.

Well then, you did a damn good job on the taping. I could kinda see the tape on the hash marks but wasn't sure about the level. Painting over the level would of been something I would have done, that's probably why I was looking.

Could take a darker brown or green and give the stripes some edges. Might be too close to a "Copperhead" pattern for you, but would give it a detail finished look imo. Looks good as is also.

I think it looks like a good start. But, it needs some more green/dark color to it. In my end of Kentucky, even with the drought, there is still a lot of green out there.

Otherwise, it looks like an excellent job.

Looks good. Range report!

Added some more random green/rust. Then misted khaki over it to soften it all up a bit. F it i'm done, the beauty of krylon is i can change it up whenever. Not too worried about the colors fitting my habitat, this gun will spend 99% of its life putting holes in paper. I was just bored of the plain look and thought it needed to look more like a working gun. As for range report, it shot .64" groups before the bedding job and the scope swap. I havent got a chance to try it out since bedding. Ive got some buffalo bore sniper 175g ordered, if that wont shoot .5 MOA, I'll start handloading.

Nice shooting stick!

Don't drop it in the grass.

You did great.

That looks pretty good.

I heard that you met my wife. Jennifer (Greg3sgal)

She was in Subway and you seen the BF logo sticker on her Mazda. You should have told her that she had to buy you a sub since you spotted her and it was AFRcom way.

Thanks guys. No range report yet, I had to send the scope back to vortex due to a loose objective lenses.

Yep Greg I'm the guy from subway. I was surprised to see a bfl in this area, and once I saw the knob creek shirt I couldn't help but strike up a conversation. She seemed very enthusiastic about having guns as a hobby, you better hang on to that one

This is bullshit. I've yet to run into anyone with the BFL. Except one guy I saw at the Venetian in Vegas. And then I realized that it was during SHOT Show.

On a slightly more related note, what did you use to get the "scale" pattern with your paint?

I have one on my Jeep Cherokee and she has one on her car (as you knnow). Our friend has one on his white Jeep Wrangler. We live in Danville. Do you go to the Boyle Co. game club to shoot?

You can use dryer bags for that pattern. Just don't use the wife's laundry bag.......

Yep, I cut up a lingerie laundry bag to use the mesh out of it. 97 cents at Walmart.
