I doubt if any paint would stick well on a Houge Overmold stock. You could probably use some Camo tape if you were really concerned with hiding a black stock. I wouldn't, but that's just me.

Check out page 81 of the refinishing pics thread. There's an AR with a painted Hogue rubber grip.

I've got a .223 Rem 700 SPS Tactical. It's my coyote gun and is fully Krylon'd. It has held up just fine over two seasons of hard use. Don't get me wrong, it has rubbed off some, especially where my shooting sticks sit but other than that I am very happy with how it has held up. I'll throw up a pic in a bit. Paint with confidence, you won't be disappointed. Just know that the finish is Krylon and not Duracoat.

It holds up okay. It will come off on heavy use areas, but it doesn't just fall off. I would a Ergo AR overmold grip that had a camo job painted on it. It took some effort to remove the paint, but I could do it. The great thing about Krylon is that you can just hit it again once it wears. Take your time to prep it right the first time. Then just hit it as needed afterward.
