Thanks...not sure about DCU, the base color is duracoat flat dark earth and the pattern colors are my own recipe.

nice job! i think even an all gray gun would be a more natural camo color than is the standard black rifle. do you have a clip on youtube showing how you did it?

Holy cow. That's really, really good. I like how in the first picture the green splotches "pop out" against the background. Excellent job getting a 3-D effect going. Like someone else said, looks good in that arena. Congrats.

Looks great.. nice detail with the pattern.. more patience than me..

I did mine last week.. used Aervoe paint in different shades of coyote, OD, field drab brown, etc.. used some pine branches, mesh..

Who cares it is a .22 it still keeps Janet Reno up at night with the 25rd mag.

I love camo ARs all 4 of mine are..the OPs looks great love the pattern..to the person who used the Aervoe...its great paint its very scratch resistant even more so than krylon.

I base coat and then go in by hand with sponges and brushes to get the "pop" 3d effect.

That seems to be my problem...painting 2 today, a S&W M&P 15 and a specialized dynamics 20 prac.
