Savage Model 11 in .204 Ruger. Action is duracoated tactical dark earth. Stock is Aervoe coyote, light coyote, earth brown, highland and OD green.

Cerakote DIY of my childhood Remington 870. I painted the improved barrel and full choke different browns to ID them easier. full choke is Patriot Brown bottom picture.
The best part of painting the gun is no more finger prints, no more oiling the exterior of the gun.

Here is my project, it's going to be an SBR so waiting on tax stamp and parts to finish rifle, but here is an idea what it will look like. Everything is Cerakote H-Series, and not counting prep work, from the time I started taping till last coat was applied and brought out of oven for final curing about 20 hours worth of work. No stencils used at all, high temp tape and free hand. Colors used are H-232Q Magpul O.D. Green, H-235Q Coyote Tan, H-213Q Battleship Grey, H-146Q Graphite Black, H-140Q Bright White, H-216Q Smith&Wesson Red.
First pic was the look I was going for. Also Micro Slicked some BCG with the Cerakote C-110Q. Update, Tax stamped approved, so here is final product.

This is another of the AIM Gen 2 G19s. This one now belongs to my dad. Had it stippled and grip work done, then I Cerakoted it in a theme to match his 1944 Willys Jeep.

I was going for the post apocalypse look with my paint job but accidentally sprayed it with gloss clear instead of matte clear. What is the recommended paint stripper in this thread? Citristrip, Kleen Strip, Goof Off?
Going to strip the receivers and try again

Stripped it and tried again. Maybe a little mismatched for ya'lls taste, but I like it and it breaks up pretty well...especially against laminate wood flooring. Edit: and the frankencamo owns the page. |

Question: I'm having a hard time trying to find an Invasion Star stencil smaller than 2" to fit on the right side of my mag well. 1 1/2" would be perfect. 1" to 1 1/4" would be OK.

I've been working on my Chassis playing with ideas on a weathered/worn bronze look similar to a spartan shield. Here is what I have so far. I still need to do a little touch up here and there and then do my barreled action.
I debated doing the barreled action in this style or making it look like raw steel and showing wear spots and make it look like it is rusting. What do you guys think?
