trying to help a buddy ID these...
pretty sure the smaller cap is for an F4949 but unsure of the longer one.....single AA adapter for same if thats even possible? thanks

The bigger ones might be CR-123 adapter for various units, PVS-5 or PVS-4 most likely.

He found out they were for HGU ANVIS mounts, big ones are AA adapters for same

Yes those are for the ITT powered ANVIS HGU mounts. They take an odd size military battery, cant remember what they are called at the moment. The larger adapter caps allow the use of double A batteries to be used in place of the military batteries. The small caps were also used on the double A baterry compartments on PVS -5C facemasks as well.
