To save 13%, I'd buy new. Both ship free so it's a non-issue. That kind of negotiating would only insult the seller. I think the quality required depends on your quarry. Many units that work fine for deer and pigs are insufficient for coyotes, raccoons, possums, and skunks which are much smaller.
