I'm looking for a nice case to store and transport a single PVS 14.
So far I saw the Nods Garage (likely can't get one) and the First Spear (looks way bigger than necessary for single tube.)

Could you point me to some good solutions?

Pelican 1200 fits a pvs-14, two sets of batteries, and a couple caps. I really like the size. Not enough room for the rhino mount, but I'm okay with that.

I use a Pelican 1120. Enough room for the pvs14 with arm attached, and some extra batteries.

The Tactical Tailor MNVD pouch is a great padded pouch. I usually put mine in the TT pouch and put the loaded pouch in my helmet as a hard case.

The BladeTech hard case is a great hard case.

Emdom but its big enough to carry dual tubes or a PVS14 plus accessories.

Pelican hard case for storage when not in use and a padded soft case as a field case. I'm using this as a field case, I put the case inside of the helmet and then the helmet inside of my pack. It fits the 14 and a dovetail J-ARM perfectly. Granted it is a soft case but the padding is good and I've about as much trust in it's ability to protect my 14 as I suppose I could in any soft case. Doubt you'll find better for less.

Surplus padded molle ACOG case $14.95

The Tactical Taylor is a great choice for a padded soft case and can be bought on Ebay for under 20.00 new in coyote. The BladeTech on the other hand didn't fit my pvs14 no matter how hard I tried even with the eye cup, JArm and dust cover removed.

The top one is the one that I mentioned from TT.

The bottom one is the BladeTech that I mentioned. MunnyShot is not the only person that I have heard complain about fitment so there is some risk that the PVS-14 will not fit. The case fits very snug to the unit.

I called USPalm and they sold me a floor model NODs garage.

Thank you all for the suggestions!

I think I'll grab a pelican case for now so my nods don't get banged up when transporting.

For the price you pay for these things, the retailer really should send it to you in a FREE* padded case with foam cutouts.  I really appreciated @UNV including one when I bought my thermal from them.

*It doesn't need to actually be free.  Just bake it into the price of the unit, and buy them in bulk.  But tell me it's free so I get good feelz about buying from you.

Just a heads up, bought this case plus the padded insert. It does not fit a pvs14 with a wilcox j-arm. 1/2" wider and it would be a perfect case.
Pouch itself fits with the j-arm, it has probably 1/8" padding.

Wasted money

I use Pelican (used to be Hardigg before Pelican bought them out) cases with the foam inserts. Good investment to protect a $3,000 night scope and accessories as well as Thermal Imaging scope and accessories. They're a lot cheaper than Zero Haliburton aluminum cases, but, just as good for protecting expensive electronics/optics. I have an AN PVS 14 and a thermal scope with accessories for both in one Pelican case.

I use this. It's big enough for my MOD3, PVS14, couple mounts and other stuff. This could work for the OP with room with a nightcap. It's an MTM Ammo box i got from Menards awhile ago and hot glued foam. The separators are from a Harbor Freight case. I should be able to hold another MOD3 if I decide to sell my PVS14.
