I have an order in process with TNVC
for an PVS-14. I believe I will buy an
OTAL from them, as well.

None of my carbines currently have a
railed forearm, so would it be reasonable
to mount it on a 45 degree offset in front
of my optic?

I don't know if I'm over thinking it, or
not. Input please.

Thanks!

John

If your running an AR you could probably pick up a Knights Armament M4 RAS for the same amount you would be spending on a 45deg mount. I think it would be a better option and not to costly. There are other direct replacement rail systems as well.

Ok. I'm a denser than I thought.

Since it's an offset laser, I can
mount it on the main receiver
rail in front of my optic, if I have
enough room, correct?

I like to keep things a simple
as I can.

Edit to add: Will it hold zero upon
removal and re-install on the
same rifle in the same position?
(Not a big deal, I'm just asking.)

Thanks again for the input.

Invoiced for TNVPVS-14 today!

Theoretically yes you could do that. But I don't think you'll have room to do it.

M4 RAS.

They're cheap and a good buy.
