Here is a spec sheet we were given earlier this year. No "official" word on Class 1/3R version as yet.

Nice and lightweight too, that is half the weight of any other on the market!
I did just order another DBAL-A3 though....

I'm looking to upgrade laser units relatively soon. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Do you know if they are going to be making a Class 1 version? If so and you get a chance to discuss it with them, I have always found the low/hi switchable IR laser settings to be very useful and some companies don't retain that feature when they lower output to class 1 compliant. If they make class 1 and retain full features just at a lower output I will buy two at minimum from you when you get them. Thanks for posting this, been looking at every single unit on the market but this is the one that fits what I'm looking for.

Within next 6-8 months I will be entering the night vision game and if this comes in a civilian legal version, I am definitely a buyer and will be putting that on a SCAR.

I saw this but didn't realize it was smaller than a credit card. Nice
Hopefully, they'll keep the general functionality for the C1 vs just gluing the knob in place and having one intensity setting and needing filters to lower the power. |

I think the switch would be a hassle with gloves, but seemed OK with fingers ( I didn't have any gloves to test it with ). These have way more power than many other of their lasers, so I'm not sure if they will make a low-power version of it - or whether they can, given it has a variable beam illuminator. David |
