Very nice! So they added another mounting option besides the flip-to-side mount?

The unit has a short section of rail on the opposite side of the quick release shoe (to mount accessories).  Looks like the poster flipped it over and grabbed that rail.  When I spoke with Vic last week, he mentioned they were looking into that.

D and K pest control in Waynesboro Ga. makes the mount. It's proprietary .

Since there are only a limited number of these in the wild, will ask how you sighted in yours.

I had hoped to mark my point of aim, shoot, mark impact, and capture the image - then adjust the point of aim to the point of impact on the captured image.  Without doing that, the best option was to attempt to do it with the gun fixed in place and use the live image (which would require starting from scratch every time I move the scope.  I was just playing around Saturday, and did not bother to dig out a rest - so end up just walking the the sight to the point of impact (a couple "clicks" at a time).

Anyway - great video.  Amazing how poorly natural camouflage works when you are sighting by heat.  Bet those pigs would have been invisible in the corn with I^2.

Do you have an AAC 3-prong flash hider on your rifle? Sounds a lot like the tuning fork "piiiiiiiinnnng" that I get when I shoot.

Depending on how the scope works, you can do a neat trick were you shoot, then do a NUC/FFC with the lens cap open while looking at the target with reticle on target, then adjust reticle to still bullet strike.

Bullet strike has to make a heat mark for this to work, and your NUC/FFC needs to not have an internal swipe.

In stand-alone mode are you able to utilize digital zoom function for shooting?

That is a very sexy combo, the battery is sleek and small, should be easy to mount anywhere.  Is the required usb battery proprietary or will the adapter work with other brands of usb battery in a pinch?  I can talk in pm if you don't want to discuss it here, Tyler.  Anyhow, well done!

Regarding USB Battery use, I have a question:
1) Will the scope turn on and off using the USB battery and NO battery in the scope?  Or is the normal battery required to boot the scope (normal battery has died and you carry only the USB Battery as a backup)?
