Have you found a mounting solution to replace the stock TNVC mount? I can be as much as 8 MOA off when switching between my day scope and the M845 Mk.4

I use the same rail position each time I remount the M845 and I use the same tension (very tight).

Thanks in advance for your help.

ETA - I love the M845 when zeroed.

My machinist friend made a Bobro-based mount for my M845, but I haven't had the chance to check it for POA/POI shift at the range yet.  I selected Bobro versus LT like on my low D-740 mounts because of the low hanging battery housings on the M845.  Maybe when it cools down a little bit, my getting-older-and-lazier ass will do more shooting.

Looks like a pretty awesome mount. Please keep me posted on the results.

Localizer, haven't there been several through tube pics posted by TNVC previously?  The thread may have rolled over to the archives.  I would tell you that I could take some tonight, but I have plans to watch the LSU game with some friends instead.

Vic, I assume that the retro reference is to the 740 mount.  I also assume that you checked out the one that I gave to Chris when you were down at WRR.  Unfortunately, the 845 form factor does not lend itself to such optimization potential.

G1X, as discussed offline, feedback on POA/POI shift will be provided after our next night shoot.  As a teaser, here are some pics of the modified shuttered eyeguard.

It works well.

Video through the tube.1.5 lens.  Distance to dot about 300 meters.

I don't have a problem with mine.  When I got it the levers were looser than I liked but I left them that way and if it shifts I can't tell.  I take it off after every outing and only sighted it in the first day I got it a few years ago.   Try to loosen the levers a bit and see if that helps but my guess would be to check the screws that go from the mount to the scope.
