Nice :) Some clever ideas there :)
As an idea, if you continue to develop it, if you use the other side and offset the mount while keeping it thin, you will find that you can achieve the same mounting profile as the PVS-14.

Thanks
I plan to try it with the invg and dual dovetail mount. I should have just bought a pvs, but this was more fun plus the mum is much lighter |

Just to ask, is there a reason you prefer the PVS-14 J-arm over the MUM2 J-arm?

I wanted some way to convert to the pvs j arm, for better mount options. Also, the mum j arm tends to wiggle at the connection point much more than the pvs, this eliminates that.

Regards David the other side has the nitrogen purge screw, which i didn't account for, I just planned to use it on the side shown. a drill bit would take care of that no problem, may give it a try ![]() |

This might be the last puzzle piece the MUM needs to gain popularity against the PVS-14. Too bad the MUM-14 housing has apparently been discontinued.
