Is there a helmet adapter that snaps on dove tail, like the MUM-14's weapons mount snaps on the dove tail?????? I have a momocular that will not use the pvs-14 large thumb screw it has the dove tail like the MUM-14, GT-14 ETC.

Thanks

Unfortunately, Most J arms are designed to mount to a US scope. Finding one to mount to a non standard scope will be tough. What type of scope ? I assume the Luna you mentioned in your other thread ? Your best bet may be to contact Luna and see if they make any such animal. I don't know of anything to fix your issue. Many Russian scopes will use US style mounts but some are proprietary in nature. If Luna can't help you it may be up to you to adapt your own.

If the bolt thread size is your only issue, possibly drill it out for a helicoil ?

1/4"-20 I believe. Same size as tripod bolts for most 35mm cameras. A PVS-14 will fit on many standard tripods.

Correct. 1/4" 20TPI Whitworth to be exact - but almost any 20TPI will do.

I have a friend with a similar requirement - and is working on a solution - for a NVM-14 in his case. It will be interesting to see what solution he finds.

But the dovetails are similar to 10~13mm rifle dovetails, so it might be possible to modify an existing railgrabber from some rings or similar to the purpose and bolt them to a partial J-arm that is bent? The airsoft J-arms are a softer thermoplastic which might be suitable for that component if you need it since I imagine you could also bend and shape the remaining arm.
