Team Wendy and TATM don't mesh, so I ordered a Norotos Bracket conversion kit from TNVC. Here's hoping it works.

That's my MUM-14 in the corner.

Hopefully the conversion pulls off parts you dont need instead of just adding extra parts - extra parts = extra weight.

Yeah. It replaces one back plate with another backplate.

Picked up a Mtek Flux not to long ago. Finally got around to giving it a go. This helmet is amazingly comfortable and handles the Nods well. The construction of the Helmet wraps "deeper" around the back of your head making it feel more stable. I didn't feel like i needed to run a counter weight.

More pics will follow as soon as I get my hands on some of the accessories for mounting lights.

Finally got pics of my helmet.

Medium ACH
Norotos shroud and rhino 2 mount
AB micro with omni 5 ANVIS tube
Princetec IR and Surefire helmet light
MSF Tactical counterweight pouch filled with CR123 batts as everything takes them now.
Red strobing lifelight.
IR flag, the right way.
CWW patch
and YOLO.

Need to upgrade the chin strap and then I am done...until I am not.

I know that counterweight pouch! I had the same dude make my battery pack pouch.

And looks good, should serve you well until you get bored and throw arc rails, new suspension, new shroud and mount, a strobe, a cover, bungies, and duals on it.

At my current rate of progression, it will be about 2018 before I go crazy and upgrade again. Two years ago I started with a PVS-7, PASGT and legacy Rhino mount.
I just got the Rhino II and shroud a few days ago.

I need to find my Phoenix strobe and slap it on that open square though. The IFF on the SF helmet light works good enough for 270 degrees but I want 360 degrees of "don't shoot this way" flashing light.

I still love 7's. 14's came out near the end of my Army time and I could never get used to one eye only. Always got headaches.

So until I can afford 15's or dual 14's, I will continue to run 7's....

Where do you get the battery pouch? If I'm gonna have a counter weight it may as well hold AA and CR123 batteries.

Working on getting my helmet setup, couple questions for y'all:

Need something to connect my pvs14 to my Tvnc lanyard. The snap hook is too small to connect to the pvs14.
Small keychain ring perhaps? Other suggestions?

Need something on my helmet to distinguish myself from an animal, so I don't get shot
I see a lot of strobes are IR and vis. Would a vis strobe be annoying while walking around with a pvs14?
Or maybe something to hold a single chemlight on the top of my helmet?

MSF Tactical. They sell counterweight and battery pouches on Ebay, but I had them do a custom pouch for my LPBP. Very reasonable pricing too.

Thanks. I am still working on a better design for the cap setup. I spent way too much time designing my own Low Profile AA Battery Pack, but on a positive note - I can run rechargeable batteries.

Close enough!

I would say that most people wouldn't bungee the arm like that, but if you've got wobble, it'll fix it for sure.

Thanks. I could stretch it to reach the monocular, but I thought it might put too much stress on the monocular.

MS2000 is built like a rock and very affordable.

If you are looking for something smaller and lighter, S&S Manta is awesome too, but a lot pricier.

I have both and would recommend either one.

Good luck!

How well does the lanyard on the black helmet work?

Haven't really tested it. Just got that thrown together last night before a shooting session. I'd rather have the t-reign more forward, but the velcro is limited on the TW. I also need to improve the attachment to the pvs14, although the cinched 550 will probably work, as-is. Always open to suggestions.

I needed a spare loaner helmet so I picked up an Airsoft FMA maritine cut (after drooling over Augee's rig). It came with the cover and mechanix gloves and has a knock-off Headlok dial system which actually works pretty darn good for $60 shipped. The shroud is also pretty solid, but I will likely change it out for something metal.

I wouldn't trust it for jumping out of planes, for for hiking and hunting, it has my stamp of approval. This helmet is also wearing my MOD3's with my Gen2 version of my Low Profile Battery Pack adapter.

I've considered buying a TRein for usage in the same manner as you did.... Just never pulled the trigger.

I ended up buying some stuff from DownRangeGear.com and Academy (ditching Zip Ties for fishing interlock snaps) to rig my own.

FWIW, TNVC does offer a version for bump helmets

No problem. Once you get them in place, snip or bend the extra wire so it doesn't mar the optic body. I tried snipping, just marred my snips. I plan on carefully bending them.

Edit: I suppose you could also use a split ring or D-Ring, but I can't bring myself to trust them once I've bent the thing to get it on and then closed.

Please let us know what you settle on. You might come up with a better method.

On my PVS14, it just took a drill bit that was slightly bigger than the diameter of the lanyard hole to open it up enough to slide the metal cable from the t-reign through it.

I've had my FMA since March 2014 and it has been money very well spent.  Friends bought legit Ops Core or Team Wendy, and I just can't make myself spend that kind of money.  The FMA works great for my uses (hunting approximately 6 times per year).  I'm sure you'll be happy with yours.
