Pretty much. Over a heavily wooded brushy ravine. No it's not stuck in a tree, checked every one. Brush and downed timber the problem.

ASR mount or Trifecta mount?

SilencerCo has been replacing problematic Trifecta mounts for people and giving them ASR mounts for both the can and their rifles. My intuition is that if you were using a Trifecta mount, contact SilencerCo and they'll probably give you a new can for free. Have you contacted them? And if so, what was their resolution?

Customer of mine shot his silencer into the Trinity river just south of Dallas.
Silencerco replaced it after he provided them with a copy of the police report. All he had to do was pay for another stamp.

Nice!

On a totally unrelated note, I just remembered I need to take a metal detector down to Mickey's Lease.

Wow wish I was so lucky. I have scoured every inch out to 50 yds and best I could to 150. Was it in a straight line from barrel???

I have seen a few Muzzle devices take a trip down range.

They never go too far, <25Ms and in line with the gun

It's a cool place, but you really need a 4WD truck to get in and out of there. That's really the only thing preventing me from joining. Shot some tannerite with a buddy there once, not too many places you can do that. I've been thinking about saving up some land-purchasing cash and doing a deal like Mickey's. I haven't been out to B Tactical, but they look like they have a good setup.

Yeah, the Trinity River has a bit of a reputation in DFW. Every time a politician talks about creating a "San Antonio Riverwalk" along the Trinity in Dallas or Ft. Worth...

I am 5 minutes from B tactical. I love that place. There is another year lease range in Greenville that a arfcommer has that I use to be a member at, it was great.

Who, where, what was the cost and how much distance do they have available?

One of the posters above mentioned a police dog.  Actually it's a pretty good idea, they can do an article search (many are trained to find guns and discarded items).  Sniff around with the local PoPo and I'm sure you can find the right guy / dog team to help you out.

I think you need a better metal detector.

I would go down there with stakes and ribbon and square off areas to scour. Be systematic and take a rake with you.

It may have hit the ground and rolled/tumbled off to the side a little too... so I'd search in a fan ( V ) pattern from 0-50 yards.
