Ones coming back approved now are taking about 6 months, so sent early March.

For one sent today, no one can say for sure as the trend is continuing to increase as time goes on.  Don't be surprised if it takes a year or more.

Hallelujah!
Edna from the research dept called me today about my M85 PAP which I was 87% sure I goofed on the model number.
She asked me to email a photo of the receiver and she would correct it.

Im doing one form about every 3-4 weeks again to keep some stuff trickling in but I think it will be a while. Oldest form was sent 3/29/16 and still pending as of Thursday last week. My fastest ever was actually last October/November 5 weeks door to door MG form 4 transfer between me and in state seller. Wish I had done about 6 more at that time.

I have a Trust Form 4 with a check cashed date of 3/4/16... i'm hoping to get a call in the next couple weeks... although my original estimate, based upon previous forms, was  7/14 - my spreadsheet says I'm currently at 180 days (as of today) since form received

eta:  yes, I'm that much of a nerd.... i like to order something every couple/few months, its like Christmas six times a year

Was looking to buy another suppressor until I saw this thread. Why would I buy a suppressor now that I can not use it for 2 years? By the time I get it, newer improved suppressors will have been designed. And hopefully the wait will be back to being closer to normal.

Additionally, even if it was cash and carry, resale value would still suck come 2017, or 2018, or 2019. So...

I called yesterday on a form 4 from feb. 22........pending still.
I was told they have pulled some if not all examiners off of everything except form 3's....WTF!!!!! what happened to first come first served.

THEN, I called today (probably gonna call daily, because I can), and they were already closed at f'ing 3:30 eastern time.

Behind as they are, they see fit to leave early on a friday. Even the recording said open till 4:45 (or maybe 4:30), this is unbelievable!!!!!!

ETA: suppressor, trust, mail in, check cashed feb.22

So much for that pipe dream of unlimited overtime. I always took off at Noon before a holiday. Oddly enough the prison was still there when I had to check back in on Tuesday.

Most Federal Employees were release 59 minutes early today.

Wait until we get into the Holiday Season

It actually makes sense that they need to move the back log of F3s. It doesn't do anybody good to have an f4 "beat" the f3 for the same item.

Examiners don't take these phone calls, they very well may have been hard at work on the forms when the PP called.

When approvals from jan. 31 were hitting july 8, and then stop. It is the last minute people causing the grief.

If they were hard at work on the backlog,  then approvals wouldn't have stopped almost 2 months ago.

Correct , there were just so many submissions each day it's taking multiple days/weeks to finish just 1 days worth of submissions.

Yep, remember that they took about 2.5 months to process just 3/14 submissions.....so I can't wait to see what happens when we get there!

Was it Silencer Co, Gemtech, or one of those bragging about the truckloads of Form 3's going out.  Well you can probably thank everyone whose form was submitted.  They may very well have halted the other forms to get the one pile worked down, and once the 3's turn into 4's they go to the end of the line.
I know common sense and the government lol.

ETA: I am jonesing to turn my Moss 500 into an SBS, but I'm going to wait until after the 1st of the year probably.  I have my fingers crossed that they might actaully be making things more streamlined.

It was SilencerShop, with 1 F-150 bed stacked with USPS boxes of forms and trust documents.
