Well I called to check on the status of my 8/20 eForm 1 and was told six months....I think the person might have been misinformed...I hope so. I ask specifically about eForms.

That said it would the high point of bad luck since I've been seeing 8/17s being approved, I just think she might have been mistaken, but has anyone else been quoted that number recently?

They give the same answer to everyone. Then if it's early you are happy. If it takes that long then you are happy.

Okay, that's fine with me.

I was just surprised I couldn't get any other status beyond confirming when I submitted it. Oh well so much for cheating. :)

There is no other status between pending and either approved or disapproved (there is problem status for paper forms). When you submit via eForms, it goes pending upon submission.

On the last few i did back in 2012, there would be a second pending date when it went from the pile to the examiner's desk.  Is this still the case (paper forms of course)?

No, they got rid of the second pending.

Nothing to do but relax. That's why so many people just say forget about it and when it comes, it comes.

That's better than what they told me on my form 4 by paper I sent last month. Some time May of next year! Don't worry, it will be quicker than that.
