When you call you'll need the serial number of the item, the name of the transferor, and the name of the transferee.

That would definitely have me worried! Both of mine from May were "cashed" within 2-3 days and then pending a couple days later.

My check was cashed in 4 days. I always call after the packages shows delivered to confirm.

Checks used to cash very quickly but I have had a couple recently take several weeks. Don't worry unless it's been >1 month.

OP...did you use any type of tracking or delivery confirmation?
The issue is possibly it was never received. If the money hasn't come out of your account, I'd be surprised if they had any info on the Form 4. |

Return address on the package was to my dealer; guess I need ot call him as well (though I would have thought he'd call if it got sent back). Damn. |

always use tracking. USPS flat rate envelope is less than $6 with tracking.

Did you send it to Wv or Atlanta. If you sent it to WV they will send it to Atlanta and then they will send it to WV.. That all takes time. Im guessing Atlanta takes the money. And WV does the work.

I had a quick question but didn't want to call the nfa branch again to bug them.
I called them earlier to check on two form 4's, and my form 1 SBR. This is my first rodeo. When I talked to them they told me the month they received them and the month they would be completed, but didn't mention pending date. Just "received june will be completed march" etc. All the checks have been cash and people have been saying here they go pending almost immediately. The checks were cash months ago. Does this mean the "received date" is the pending date? Or was i supposed to ask for that? The lady I talked to on the phone (Victoria I think?) told me march for my two june forms(form's 1 and 4), and april for my july one. But it sounds like they will be done sooner from what I gather here. |

Until it's Pending, it won't show up in their system. So, if they gave you a date of any kind, that's probably the Pending date. My last three took several weeks to go from check cashed to Pending. |

Ok that makes sense. Both of the dates she gave me were actually the day before my check cashed and was taken out of my account. So I am going to assume those are the pending dates then.

Glad your forms were not lost.
The one thing we can all say about the Govt is that they never will drag their feet when it comes to taking your money. I would have been nervous too if my check had not been cashed by them within 2 weeks of mailing. |

I had the check for my saker762 cashed 8/26, and still no pending. My spectre II when pending 4 days after its check was cashed.
