Interesting. I have a paper form 4 with a 5/2 pending date. Just called and was told January. Was told March a couple months ago.
Also have two paper form 4s that went out earlier this month. Hopefully the trend continues. Trust or individual OP? |

Form 1 paper and form 4 are sent to different places. My guess, form 1 paper are being caught up on. I wouldn't assume anything for a form 4 paper. Sorry. I'm in the same boat. My form 4 is still 7 months out.

This makes me hopeful for this year! I paper filed a Form1 for a trust on 4-10, went pending 5-1 and was told it was set to be approved in January. Fingers crossed for sooner...

I recently had 2 Form 1's and 2 Form 4's approved almost 6 months from the day the forms were sent.
All were individual. |

I had a april submission and received my stamp Thursday of last week. It looks to be a 4 month turnaround for paper file form 1, though I did file under a trust.

Yep, my pending Form 1 of 4-30 was approved 8-22. That was paper. Had an efiled one pending 6-28 approved first week in August.
All under a trust. Now, I do not see movement on F4s as being this quick. NFA tracker and Silencer Shops posted wait times indicate this. FWIW, a friend I shoot with just had a F4 approved submitted in Jan with a pending date of February. I wish it was as fast as my first MG was submitted and pending 1 week after the paper SBR. |

Yes but more specifically:
Form 4 is for an already existing title II item Form 1 is for a manufactured tittle II item (Homemade SBR/suppressor/DD) |

I have two Form 1's that are pending since April.
The first Form 1 for a SBS went pending on April 11, the other Form 1 for a Suppressor went pending April 14. I called and received this information on Aug 29. |

I have sent them all in one packet with my trust to the GA address and have had no issues doing that. So no form 4s :( I sent 5 in at once in one packet with this batch, one form 1 and four form 4's I had called awhile back and they gave me a pending of 4/30/14 on all of them My 4s are still pending but now they changed the pending date to 4/18/14 when I called today. (I think that is the day checks was cashed) Gave serial for my form 1 and she said yes approved 8/22/14 and same pending as the others now 4/18/14 I wonder if they have different examiners doing form 1s now. I forgot and should have asked who the assigned examiner was on each one. Anyways super sad  my form 4s aren't back was a bunch of new cans form 1 I didn't really care that much about.

I haven't called or anything. Just figured id try to forget sbout it, and it'd be a nice surprise when my stamp came in the mail. Should I be concerned? Who should I contact, and what info should I have on hand when I call? Until I saw this thread I just assumed it was a 9 month wait. |
