Funny story if anyone wants to read.
Got a form 1 disapproved due to putting multi as caliber, so I start all over and correct my mistake. It takes me a few hours due to the site crapping out on me during the process but I think I finally get it done. This is on 8/20, but I never received an email with my control number, so 3 days later on 8/23 I log on to the site to learn it didn't send, so I get it sent off and wait patiently to hear back from them. Well yesterday I got tired of waiting for an email so I logged on to the site and see that my form was approved on 8/24, the freaking day after I submitted it. And I've been waiting this whole time to finish this deal up. I feel silly, but life goes on, live and learn. |

Submitted on 6/10. Form 1 E FIle for an SBR. Still waiting. Called today to check and they said only to check if it's longer than 5 months on the recording.
5 months for E file. Whew....last one was 35 days. |

So the "approval" was under 2 months, but it took them over a month to mail it!

So i finally got my ass to submit my form 1 for SBR. I followed BigWaylon's guide post and Silencershop's YouTube video at the same time, and it was WAY quicker than i though it would be!!!!!!
I had to refresh (close and go back) a few times, but it was fairly painless! Thanks for everyone's advice :) The wait begins! |

They've changed something in the process. I know multiple people that have gotten them back in under three weeks in the last month or two. Mine took ~4 months earlier this year.

I e-filed back on 8/6 and had been hoping for 3 month approval but looks like 4 months is the new going rate.
You have to wonder how many applications they have backlogged to be driving the times up like this? I hope we dont get back to the days of super long waits (as if 3-4 months isnt long enough already). |
