Must be lots more use of this than before, and the system is getting loaded up. View Quote Alot of SBRs I saw on the nfatracker site. Probably will level out in a few months. Form 1 cans seem to be starting to take off some. I actually submitted one myself. Very easy to do and parts are appearing on the market for anyone wanting to do so. |
|
Yeah, there does seem to be a high number of SBRs. Probably due to the Sig Brace debacle. On the bright side, it looks like they will be doing applications filed in February soon!

My guess is tax time. This time of year, a lot of people that may not usually have extra money get a couple grand dropped in their laps. |
|
Another thing- isn't it weird on NFA Tracker (yes, very incomplete data) that the two Jasons and Ted are the only ones signing off these days?

Just checked the eform site and my form 1 is APPROVED!
Submitted 1/30 Approved 3/22 Draft watermark is there- I just emailed Ted. |

Looks like my form one was not approved due to a stupid typo on my part. I really don't want to go through this 300 page thread to learn what to do now. can someone give me the cliff notes on how and to whom to resubmit? am I going to have to pay another $200.00? any help would be appreciated.

Seems like things have really slowed. It may just be 41P and the Sig brace descision but the fact that only 3 examiners seem to be signing raises questions. |

Quoted: Sig brace is definately a factor but I would imagine that is just beginning to be seen. Wasn't it ruled illegal to shoulder in Mid-January? 41p looms large as well. That is what got me off the fence. Three current pending efiled form 1 SBRs. 1/16 1/30 1/31 Frushour signed mine as well. Did they fire everybody else? Still waiting on efiled form 1s from: 1/31 3/2 3/12 |

Nicole Dudash signed a form on the 20th of March
Carol S. Ripley signed a form on the 19th. Sandra Snook signed a form on the 16th. Ann Feltner signed a form on the 15th. Heather N. Thompson signed a form on the 16th. Dana R. Wood signed a form on the 14th. So you can see it's not just the "Jason's", or Ted Clutter signing forms. ETA: You gotta understand (and I'm in no way defending the ATF) that these folks are signing several thousand forms a day. If you go through the list of examiners you will see there are several dozen of them "working" on the forms... |

Looks like 2/1 is coming up, I'm hoping by the end of this week or early next week.

I know I am a newbie to the NFA waiting game, but The anticipation is killing me, I filed 4 Form 1's on 2/21 and just finished assembling 3 of the lowers, I just need stamps to complete them. OH THE WAIT IS DREADFUL. Don't know how you vets of NFA could wait 9-12 months.

I submitted my first Form1 in January and once I got it back I filed another at the beginning of this month. I forgot about it till this week. Same goes for suppressors. Once I got my Saker I forgot about my Harvester. Once you have at least one it gets easier IMO. |
