Well, I sent my paper Form 4 in today. I'm REALLY hoping for a 6-month (or less) turn around.

Shannon S. was busy on 2/23 submissions today. I count three of us approved by her so far on this page. eform 1 Submitted 2/23 Approved 7/24 Control # 2014891xx I didn't have the problem with draft accross the form and I was hoping my 7/3 form 1 would be batched but I am happy as hell with my first stamp. I do have one issue though and I did an "ask the experts" this morning. When filling out the eform, on the drop down box for city Mountain Home was abreviated Mt Home and thats what is on the actual form 1. So do I have Mt Home, ID or Mountain Home, ID engraved on the lower? If it was approved with Mt Home, ID thats what I would have engraved if it were me What it's approved with has nothing to do with what you engrave. In fact, it could possibly be illegal. You engrave with the city where you made the SBR. If he drives to a friends house in Boise to assemble it, it was made in Boise. James S. Robertson replied to my "ask the experts" question. He said I can engrave the postal abbreviation which I assume is Mt Home, ID. Thats what I'm going to go with as it will keep the engraving smaller. I will also keep the email forever to cover my ass. |

Slow summer days. I hope all of you with outstanding v1.0 forms get approved in the next few days.
Good luck. |

And she'll walk away unscathed of course. Holy shit. Thankfully I hadn't poured my coffee yet: that's comedy gold right there. I think I'm going to throw in a Form 1 for an 870 that needs the 12" treatment. I see me buying that new Salvo12 next year. Which means something in the safe is living on borrowed time (see your thread on quality over quantity). Anyway, today being Sunday, I don't expect much in the way of approvals. But for all of us waiting, there is that chance that our number will be called. So good luck to all. Cheers |

It's Monday morning in America...
And it's way too quiet in this thread. Let's hope the action picks up. Good luck. |

Has anyone that e-filed on 3/28/14 for form1 SBR hear back yet? I did that day and just checked today and still says submitted/in progress. Was kind of hoping that it would be approved soon as it's been 4 months. Just curious.
Thanks, Mav |

I see approvals in the last week in forms filed between 2/21-3/31. There's no real rhyme or reason. It's coming, maybe this week, maybe not. |

Anyone else have a Form 3 out there that is taking forever?
Mine was submitted on June 6th and I figured it would have been back by now, but no such luck . |

We're getting closet to the time when e-forms first went down. Wonder what'll happen then? More resources towards paper, or have those examiners skip over gaps for some very fast e-files? Also wonder when all these new examiners will begin to impact the queue?

Yeah I was seeing that, just surprised that there is no update on the eforms site under my account. Can you or anyone confirm that I should see any update there prior to it getting mailed? I have been checking the site once a week for the past week or so. Just wondering what I should be looking for. Thanks, Mav |

Nothing will get mailed...it's just the email. Thanks That being said...it won't hurt to log in to check. Sometimes spam filters catch the email. And just so you're not confused (if it's your first eForm), you may not see the attachment if you're using a mobile device. I have no idea why, but several people have mentioned it. Then, I had it happen with all four of mine when using an iPhone. I could log into webmail on phone or laptop and attachment was there, but none showed up in the Mail app on my phone. Or, when you get the email, just log into EForms and you can view/save/print the approved form. |

Had a form 4 filed 3-16 that was approved on 7-28. Still waiting on a form 1 filed on 2-16.
Eta.. The form 1 was approved 7-20 but I did not receive an e-mail. |

How do you find out who your examiner is? View Quote You have to call...or look at the approved form. When I called and asked about my EForms, they said it didn't work that way and they weren't really assigned until they were touched for the Approval/Disapproval. Others have called weeks/months in advance and were given an examiner's name. |

I was just told via email from James Robertson that "We don’t assign examiners any more. We work as a group to process the applications in the order they’re received."
|
|
And yet we know that they don't really go in order. Like the guy in this thread who got his 6/24 eForm approved last week or so.
