Control #s? None of mine have that, even the approved ones. Unless yall mean permit # which looks about like what is being posted. ( 2016337xxx )
So this is strange. On the email i got it says submitted 6/30 but on the atf site it says submitted 7/14 Wonder if its just pending research 6/30 and submitted for approval on 7/14 and i just didnt get the emIl for that change in status. |

Probably one and the same... But it does say "Control Number" on the Form 1: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/Engineer303/ammo_and_guns/eForm1_zps33qdk4iv.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Internal Control Number...is something the user would've provided when filling out the form: |

god, there must have been tens of thousands of procrastinators because the closer we get to the 41F deadline, the longer wait times are extending. It'd damn near asymptote-like at this point.

i couldn't wait until the last minute. I was sure that ATF IT guy was going to "accidentally" do something to take down the e-forms site "temporarily" and it would just never come back up until the deadline had passed. I filed 5 SBR eF1s the day they became legal (for the 3rd time) in WA...6/9/16, IIRC.
That said, it will be kinda cool to see who the last arfcommer is that sneaks in ahead of the deadline. |

Got one of my Form 1's today that had been e-filed on July 9th. Only had to wait 298 days. Still have another one to go filed the same day.

I've given up hope on seeing my September 12 check-cashed submission come back until after that date.

Honestly I'd be surprised if my December pending form 4 didn't come back in July or August. After 7/13/2016 or so, I'm pretty sure form 1 and 4 volume dropped to near zero. The only people bothering after then would be individuals or corps, or people who were actually using trusts for their original purpose...and not just as a method of avoiding prints, photos, and a CLEO signoff. There might be a minor uptick in some submissions in some areas now that cleo signoffs aren't necessary...but beyond that I'd still bet volume was at an all time low from mid-July 2016 until at least January of this year, maybe longer. 7/8/16 efile Form 1 for my VZ61 SBR was approved tonight (5/9/17). The paper, individual Form 4 (suppressor) submitted post 41P on 7/19/16 was actually approved quicker (5/2/17).

Damn. What day was the cut off for eforms / 41F again? We're getting close, right?
Wtf, I have 2 near 20163273xx and they have already approved ones after mine?
Yeah, I hopped on and checked them this morning. They are still under the submitted/in process group.

that's just a couple days from where approvals seem to be. Prolly be another week or more until we hit 'the end' of the eF1s. Graph looks like a hockey stick. Someday having an approved eForm is gonna be like owning a Chinese AK or a transferable MG. "the good old days".
