I paid up that very day with overnight mail (4x more expensive than the transfer tax) using a bank check on behalf of my client (getting the bank check was more expensive than the transfer tax too) and included a note that apologized on behalf of my client. Then I bitched out my client and charged them out the wazoo for doing that. Not sure what the policies and procedures are today. Mike LOL. And that's why i sent a cashier's check. LOL. Now I learned something new at your expense. Very cool that your transfer is moving forward.
I still rather use personal check and recommend personal checks just so you can tell if the ATF has received the forms. |
