If your check was cashed 3/23 then you have at least a month to wait yet. You forms probably went pending a week or 2 after that date, they are approving mid February pending dates now on f4 for trusts. My forms went pending 4/21, I'll be happy if mine are approved before 2017.

I have three Form 4's pending; they are all to my trust. They are at 183, 172, and 165 days respectively.
I for one appreciate the efforts of our hard working NFA examiners, and I am sure they are reviewing and approving forms as quickly as they can. If they are reading this, I just wanted to let them know. |

ATF early this year changed their method of assigning Form 4's. As they arrive now, they are immediately assigned to a named inspector. So, it is no longer a FIFO (first in - first out) method. It will purely depend upon that inspectors work-load / backlog. So all of that back-log will vary between inspectors. Just pray that your inspector doesn't get ill.

called to check on my form 4 filled 2-22-2016 spoke to a very nice lady. she said they were working on the second week of February but they have a 300,000 + backlog, she said they have pulled in people from other departments but it is still slow going.
too bad they can't tie the $200.00 to the forms approval |
