Same here. I purchased the can 6-19, the check wasn't cashed until almost a month later.

It's cool though, I'm in no rush. And honestly SS has done so much to streamline the process, I"m actually okay wiht it.

Pending approval as of 04/14/2017 (40 weeks, 1 day). I called the NFA branch today and spoke with a lady and she told me they're still in June submissions... I asked her how multiple people have gotten early and even early/mid July submissions back already and she said she didn't know.

Seems like quite a few 7/4's and 7/5's have come back... then I started seeing 7/11's and I was like

I would say we'll know the answer to that question in a couple/few weeks. Forms filed 5 days out from 41p have been approved so there is a about weeks worth of forms to go through before we see the end of the spike.

I was really surprised, I had three suppressor stamps approved before my efile SBR. I really felt confident that the SBR would be done before the suppressors. They are sitting in my safe and I'm still waiting on my SBR Stamp. If I would have made a bet with someone I would have lost big time.

Last year I did the same thing....two suppressors then a month later an SBR efile. The SBR was back months before the suppressors.

The good thing about all of this, no matter how long the wait we DID NOT get Hillary in the White House. Then the waits would have become NO CHANCE IN HELL.

Their process does not make any sense. I sent out a Form 4 several days before a buddy of mine (we both used the same shop), his was approved 4/4 and received today 4/18. Mine is still at the ATF pending. Mine went pending 7/6 after a mail date of 6/24.

The people on the phone don't deal with the paperwork, they are just checking on the status in the system when you call.

my M110 can was mailed june 27. it was received july 12. still processing as of 4/25/17.im at 10 months and still pending. I hope there are no issues. I assume they go off the postmark? if they go off the day it was received I guess mine is coming back. I'm waiting on an NT4 after this and that's it. luckily I have cans for everything and a few in each caliber I own. I will not be buying anything else until this gets under control. they say they steam lined but from everything ive read they just reduced the number of examiners in the industry section and formed the government section. they still only have 27 examiners. I'm sure law enforcement forms get through really fast now and I guess there is an argument that they should but then again its stupid to even involve the NFA branch in agency purchases. they use contractors to answer phones, do data entry and some research but at the end of the day there are only 27 examiners and they can not just hire more so they had to take some to form the new section. then I'm betting there are a few more that don't actually do any stamps. maybe they are just supervisors or something like that. knowing how the government works there is probably one person working while 3 watch, so really we are probably closer to the 2012 figure of 12 examiners actually working on industry forms. in my opinion they just used the catch phrase about steam lining the branch so everyone would think it pertained to them when in fact it slowed everything down for us. did anyone notice the wait times jumped by 2-3 months about the time of their "steam lining".

Individual purchased Silencer Co Saker 7-8-16 paperwork mailed out the same day by Palmetto State Armory haven't heard anything yet. I did however see the same thing you saw and my understanding was trusts were always faster but not according to NFA tracker. I have to be getting close.

Is it common for orders from SS to not get updates? I bought two suppressors via trust on July 5th. All I see on SS is:
"Form 4 submitted: 7/10/2016"
"Form 3 disposed: 9/26/2016."

Nothing about checks cashed, pending, or anything like that.

Yes, SS does not get that information. You can get that by looking at your bank account (if it was your check). If not your check, then you won't know the cashed date, but you can call the ATF to get the pending date and whether or not is has been approved.

Sent my Individual 3 Form 1s on Sept 7, 2016, they arrived in GA Sept 8, 2016, and checks were cashed on Sept 13, 2016. Still waiting, and I don't expect seeing them for another month or two.

I have 5 running from SS ordered about a month apart starting in Sep last year. While that info is the same for each of them in "my transfers", I did receive an email from them to notify me that "check has cashed" for each of them dated about the same time that they had changed the F3 status from 'submitted' to 'disposed'.
